    I was caught shoplifting in a grocery store in chateauguay quebe. And will be sent a court letter with a date for my hearing, will I end up in prison?

    What could happen.

    You hire an attorney and he shows there is not enough evidence or something done wrong and charges are dropped.

    You are found guilty and serve a few months in jail

    Most likely you work out a plea agreement for a first offender program,
