    Moving out at 17
    Hello, okay I need help. My mom lives in Michigan and has custody of me and I want to move to Florida to live with my dad. I am 17 years old. How would I do that?

    The easiest way would be to turn 18.

    Odinn is right. Your dad (or mom) would have to ask the Court for a change in custody. That will take some time.

    You'll probably be 18 when it happens.

    If both your parents agree you can go now. Although mom has custody you could "visit" your dad, with her permission, while waiting for that big birthday to come around.
