I was out with my boyfriend yesterday and we were having a nice time until he saw an old friend. He walked over to his friend and embraced him. I was walking over thinking he would introduce me but instead he grabbed his friend and walked away from me. I stood there awkwardly for a second not knowing what to do.

He talked to his friend for a good fifteen minutes while I sort of walked around by myself. When he was done he came over to where I was and acted sheepish and guilty so I know he knows he did something wrong. So why did he do it? My first thought was that he was embarrassed by me for some reason.

I didn't say anything because I was on the verge of tears but he knew I was upset. I will bring it up because it's still bothering me. I'd love some opinions before I do.

I would have kept walking and let him catch up, but nothing wrong with telling him is behavior was unacceptable and disrespectful, and it hurt you. Such things are best dealt with calmly, and immediately, so don't let a lot of time goby without saying something.
