    Yes, I'm having a pain in my left side and having trouble pooping what's causing that?

    Usually constipation makes it hard to poop.

    You really need to see your doctor if that lasts very long or if other pain is associated with a difficulty in bowel movements.

    Please be specific about 'trouble pooping' - how long it's been and what you have taken to relieve it. There's no point in going to a doctor until you go to a drugstore. Talk to the pharmacist!
