    Can a ding in a picture size window be repaired like a windshield?
    I have a small ding in a picture window in my house. It didn't break the seal in the double pane. Can this be repaired like automobile windshields?

    Most references refer to the fact that auto glass is tempered while house glass is not, implying that windshield type repairs would not work on house glass.
