My sister cheated me out of the family cottage after our father died...
I'm 58 years old and my family has owned a cottage in Lake St. Helen for 50 of them. When my father died my dear sister was the executor of the will and put the cottage up for sale without my permission. What can I POSSIBLY do to reclaim my ownership of it? I'm LOST and ACHING. The property is in Michigan. Any attorneys are welcome to offer suggestions.

    Thank you,
    Susan

Reclaim 'your' ownership? What did the will say?
If you can't afford to buy a sibling or siblings out at the appraised value, and they don't want to keep it in the family, then it goes up for sale.
If it has sold, you can't get it back.
    Can you be more specific?
