Troubleshoot a murray riding mower
I have a murray riding mower.changed the starter/ new battery/new solenoid.. after doing this still won't start. The starter wire is get's hot. Not sure why. Tried cleaning all the connections.still nothing. The solenoid does make a noise. . any help with this would be real nice.

I have a Craftsman DYT4000 riding mower. The battery is less than a year old. The starter is one-and-a-half yrs old, the solenoid in brand new. When I try and start it, it acts like it wants to turn over, but just can't. It may get one revolution, then stops. I can hear the starter struggling....
Murray select wide body. I need a electrical system diagram. Someone before I got it put an 18 twin on it .It came out with a 16.5 on it :confused:
Where do you find the model number on a murray riding mower. This one is a 46" cut with an 18 hp motor. I need a manual, but without the model number I can't find one.:)
I have a model 38618X92E. I am looking for a manual or parts catalogue for this model so I can find the proper replacement belt. Thanks.
