Washer water overflowing onto the floor making both toilets gurgle and one overflow.

House is one story, 1 bedroom has toilet and shower and the main bathroom has a toilet shower/bathtub. These room are side by side. The kitchen has the laundry room next to it. 2 adults only have lived in house for two yrs.Prior to this the house sat empty for 2 or 3 yrs(owner died/lived there with family for like 60 yrs) It has well water, septic tank and drainfield. Problem started slowly with kitchen sink draining slowly on the garbage disposal side. Garbage disposal does not work. A)We plunge the sink when drains extra slow. Next when I would do the laundry, about 2-3 loads one day per week, sometimes the toilets would make gurgling sounds. Working on this 14 acre property produced more dirty clothes and would do 2 loads twice a week. Sometimes a little water would drain onto the floor when the water drained from the washer. At this point, 1 load of clothes put quite a bit of water on the laundry room floor and water came out of the toilet in the bedroom bathroom. We also have: B)put a hose down the vent on the roof(w/o water coming from the hose, C) Snaked the pipe in the laundry room the washer drains into, no clogs. D)Have put liquid plumber down the kitchem sinks. PLEASE, What's going on? He is talking about putting in a drainfield and or septic just for the laundry room. What would be the best course of action to take at this point? THANK YOU FOR ANY AND ALL PROFESSIONAL RESPONSES. GOD BLESS. E. Deming

Toilets gurgle from washer and sewer fly infestation [ 2 Answers ]

Over the past few days my toilets started to gurgle when the washer is running. The gurgling tends to suck the standing water out of the bowls. Water also briefly backs up in the both bathtubs. The toilets seem to flush okay but do emit some bubbles upon flushing. It is my understanding from...

What is causing water to gurgle in floor drain in basement? [ 0 Answers ]

Drain is in the laundry room but the gurgling noise is non-stop- not just when we are using water. We have a sump pump- about 10 feet away from this drain but we have never plugged it in. There is no water coming up into the basement- just gurgling down in the drain- approx 4 inches below floor.

Washer overflow out of floor drain [ 2 Answers ]

During the spin cycles, when gallons upon gallons of water are getting purged from my washer into the draining sink next to the washer, the water has started coming out of a drain in the floor of my basement in between my washer and dryer. It looks like it's supposed to be going up out a couple...

Washer is causing toilets and sinks to make gurgle noise [ 2 Answers ]

Just today I've noticed when the washer is draining, the toilets and sinks make a gurgling noise, not necessarily a burp because the water level in the toilets remain the same. When I use the sinks or toilets there isn't any noise. The noise first started in just the sinks and only when the washer...

Washer Drains, floor drain overflow [ 7 Answers ]

First of all, I don't have much knowledge about plumbing, but am eager to learn and tackle it myself before I have the pros come in. Here's my problem. When I first bought the house, the washer will drain, and I will see some soap bubbles coming up from the floor drain. I always thought that I...
