I like this guy and I don't know what to do!
I'm 11 and in 6th grade. I sit next to him in one class and he's not mean. He gives me candy and gum when he has it. I give him gum too. I give him answers for work an let him borrow pencils. Most girls don't like him but I do :) I don't know why they don't! But anyway, there is 7 days left if school and I'm moving over the summer! I don't even know if I'm ready to like somebody but I'm afraid I'll never see him again. He does follow me on Instagram though but we never talk. Again, I don't think I'm ready but he's so perfect! I don't want to lose him.

You're 11... you're moving... what choice do you have except to "lose him" ? I mean, really... once you move, what do you think is going to happen?
At your age, you are too young to worry about this kind of stuff anyway.

You can't lose someone you don't have.

End of school, plus moving brings sadness and missing old friends and classmates. Like you said you may not be ready to do anything about your feelings and circumstances.
Don't be sad you will make new friends, some you will like and someday you will be ready for that special person, but not now is all.

I have these friends...
I moved a year ago and I have this group of friends and we text each other all the time and hang out in school and stuff and schools over in like a week... I haven't even been to their houses before! I'm moving again though... It'd be hard. I like them so what should I do to keep in touch? Maybe I shouldn't... maybe I should just text them like I do now. I have these bff's that I have known for 10 years... should I just keep them and make friends at my new school? Idk what to do... help me?

Back when I was your age and dinosaurs roamed the earth, all we could do to stay in touch was by snail mail. Now you have email and IMing and Skype and texting and even cheap or free long distance telephoning, so stay in touch with the good friends, but make new ones too.

Keep in touch w/ your friends. Especially if you really like them. Good friends, or friends in general are sometimes hard to come by. Just let them know since your moving that y'all should never lose touch. Sometimes you guys could even spend weekends, summers, or whatever together to make it seem like there really haven't been any distance between y'all. 😎

This sounds to me like you feel you have to choose between one group of friends and another. I don't know why you can't remain friends with everyone.
Unfortunately as people are separated by distance and don't stay in daily touch relationships can dwindle away, particularly if all you had in common was school or school interests.
So stay in touch with everyone and see how it plays out. I wouldn't make any decisions until I actually moved.
How far away are you moving?

Between 14-16. 11 is just too young. How do I know? My 11 year old son is sitting right next to me.

Thanks. Too be honest I agree with you. I'm in 6th grade and kids have gf/bf and I think they are too young! I just wanted to know so thanks! (I'm not ready for it yet either) :)

I think it's maturity, not age. I have a 28-year old stepdaughter who most definitely should not have a boyfriend.
