Amana ac unit speeds up before turning off
Dear Sir,
I have an Amana Distinction 2.0 Ton heat pump, SEER 14 installed in my department about 4 months ago. I've noticed that the AC has a regular pattern running in the on/off cycle and that is, I hear the click on the Honeywell thermostat and the unit goes on, after reaching the desired temp,I get another click and than the AC blower just speeds up noticeably and loudly about 10 seconds before turning off. This happens all the time and at night this burst can be annoying. Is this normal? I'd appreciate your guidance. Arturo |

Last night noticed it was hot in house. Thermostat was set on 74 and temp in house was 82. Heat pump would not turn off even when thermostat was shut off. Today turned off the inside breaker for awhile, now it is working fine.?
My unit is 2 years old and my A/C, Heater or furnace fan are not working. I already checked my circuit breaker and is not tripped. When I press and hold the reset button on the A/C unit it comes on but the air does not enter the house. Any Ideas any body. I think it's got to do with the furnace fan...
Having a problem with my inside unit (in the attic) sweating more like pouring water out of unit bottom soaked but also top around screw holes on where pleum attaches to unit amana rep came and added a kit inside but did nothing for the problem has any heard of this on their newer units
My question is somewhat analogous to comparing apples and oranges in that they are both fruits but work differently. i.e. laptops and desktops are both comps but work differently. Regardless, my question is , (if its possible to ocmpare) if I have a desktop that is a pentium 4 3ghz and a laptop...
Recently our central air unit stop producing cool air and noticed our fan was not turning outside, and was making a loud humming noise, can this fan be replaced without replacing the entire unit :confused:
