Loose fitting screw on type tub spout - does not leak
I had a new one piece tub/shower and faucet /shower installed. The spout does not fit tightly and can be moved up and down as though the hole where the pipe comes through is too large. It does not leak. It is a Pfister pasadena screw on type spout. What can I do to correct this problem?

Replacing a tub spout and the screw tightens while off the pipe but won't tighten once spout is placed over pipe - this is a non-threaded pipe with a spout that has the one screw (allen wrench)
