I accidentally took 180MG of morphine extended release tablets (my mom put her pills in a tylenol bottle without my knowledge). I don't know if this is a high enough dose to be dangerous. I never took morphine before and my breathing is becoming slow and shallow. Should I go to the ER. Would they be able to do anything for me? I don't have any health insurance so should I wait it out. I'm avoiding sleep since I think going to sleep isn't the safest idea. I normally don't take pain killers. The strongest thing I've taken is Vicodin after dental surgery so I suppose I have a low tolerance. My height and weight may matter, so I'm 5 foot flat and I weigh 170 pounds (I know I'm very overweight, but I'm working on it). I'm 19, if that matters, too. My mentality seems to be normal, I'm just tired and a bit dizzy and my typing skills are slower than normal.

Any overdose of a major medication is worth going to the ER for, yes go and get checked out. And tell you mom to get that medication out of the tylenol bottle before someone else gets hurt.
