    60 amp upgrade
I live in Cranbrook B.C. and I just bought a house scheduled to move in next month. The service is only 60 amp and I wasn't made aware of this till I did a walk through after the deal was done (I did a preinspection). Now my realtor is saying is is not their fault that it was my responsibility.
Is this true? I may be stuck with a $1000.00 bill.

    Hello run:

Yeah, the box was there for all to see. You didn't see it. Why should the realtor have pointed it out? Will 60 amps not work? Is a 60 amp box illegal? If it works, and it's not illegal, then nobody had obligations to tell you anything about it.

Good afternoon, Here's the scenario: I picked up a house that was in the middle of a remodel. Seeing a new 200 Amp breaker box, I dug around and found the old breaker box was a 100 Amp. The wires entering the house have not been replaced, as in they are too small, 2/0. I went out to the meter...
