So, I'm 24. I'm moved back in with my parents due to injury.. I have 3 herniated discs and have a hard time living on my own right now. Well, today, my mother had a hair dresser appointment. I've been thinking she was acting strange lately.. Always going to concerts and festivals with her one friend named Tom.. Who I actually know.. And seems like a decent guy. Well, she forgot her phone here on the kitchen counter when she went to her hair dresser appointment. It started ringing and I noticed it was her hair dressers number and I picked up the phone.. It was her just trying to find her phone from the hair dressers.. So I let her know it was here and hung up.. When I hung up.. The phone changed screens to a text message she had opened.. And it said "I was hoping you'd say that. I love you, babe... Can't wait to see you" in response to . "Have my hair appointment at 10...then I'm free...I make good company :)"

You think she's cheating? I do.

My question is.. How do I go about confrontation?

Your Mother is more than likely having an affair. Obviously something is going on here.

Here's what I would suggest. Do not under any circumstances go to your Dad. Don't do that to him. Instead, confront your Mom. Confront her and absolutely do not let her play you as a fool. You know what's going on.

She'll have to confess to your Dad. It's always better to fess up yourself opposed to finding out from someone else.

Confront your Mom, tell her you love her, but you will NOT tolerate her sneaking around behind your Dad's back.
