    What is it how do I get rid of it and why does it happen?

    I have one it hurts and I have had one before I know they have to lance it but is there a better way? Its very painfull and almost inhuman! They are Re scudding why?

    They recur because of either too much skin around the opening of the gland or gland keeps getting infected. Since yours is painful, it's probably infected, and you MUST see a doctor. Sit in a warm tub until you can get to one. If you have Epsom salts, put those in the tub.

    Your doctor may suggest surgery. Marsupialization is the surgical technique of cutting a slit into an abscess or cyst and suturing the edges so that it can remain open and drain freely.

I was told I have a Bartholin Cyst. I was tender but that is all. The NP told me to take sitz baths and warm compresses. The moment I did I was in pain and have been since. Now I cannot get in to the Dr. for 10 days. I am looking for anything that will help with the pain.
