    Am I pregnant?
I had protected sex on may 4 then I got my period a week later on may 11. It lasted 7 days. Haven't had any symptoms but I'm very worried. I am 24 so I'm old enough but I just want to have a good life before I bring a baby in this world so I can provide for them the right way. Also I look at my stomach all the time and its big. Can It just be getting to me?

What are you nervous about? You had sex. You got your period.

Have you had sex SINCE your period?

No protection is 100%, even if you use 2 or more forms of birth control, pregnancy is possible any time you have sex.

Here are the facts. You had "protected" sex, and you had a period afterwards. That would indicate that you're not pregnant. If your stomach is looking bigger, cut out the snacks, the fast foods, pop and other foods that can promote weight gain. Exercise and eat healthy foods and healthy meals.

If you're not ready to be a mom, you shouldn't be having sex.

    Good luck.

A lot of people have sex . Even when they don't want a child. It was a simple question. Don't need your negative input.
    Have a nice day

A lot of people are smart enough to use birth control (often two types) when they have sex and don't want a child. Very often the male partner doesn't want to be a father, doesn't want to expose a woman he cares about to the health risks involved in "morning after" pills and abortions or raising a child alone, doesn't want to risk disease.

A lot of people realize if they have sex and THEN get their period the odds are 99.9% that they are not pregnant. They don't obsess over whether they are.

AMHD doesn't need your negative input either - it goes both ways. Neither "Alty" nor I am on AMHD asking if we could are pregnant if we had sex, then got our period, then were bloated.

For the record - I'll venture a guess that Alty and I, just like a lot of people to whom you refer, have had and continue to have sex and don't have any unwanted children. Of course, we're both smart enough to protect ourselves agaInst that risk.

And you have a good day, too.
