    Real estate meth laws
I have bought a home and it was used for a meth lab. What are the laws regarding this, should I have been told by the realtor? What are the effects of this on children in the home? I live in Alabama.

I would scrub all the walls in every room before moving in. Do you know if the house was auctionned off by police or was just foreclosed?

I moved in 6 months ago and had no clue what the history was. There was a police bust here but I bought from a realtor.

Okay, but how do you know it was a meth lab? Were they just selling drugs in the home or making them and how do you know for sure?

I was told by a police officer about the bust, and then started asking neighbors and they all verified it. It was made in the basement of the house.

I think in most states the realtor has to disclose this, Alabama does not seem to be one of these states, here's the list of states
