    Central Air conditioning not working after winter
    Hi,
    We have Lennox central air conditioner... just 3 yrs old ( This is 3rd summer). I was trying to turn it on after a break during winter, but it is not turning on. I set the thermostat to 'cool' ,turned the fan to auto position but it is not working at all.
    Then I checked the circuit breakers for furnace and air conditioner but its still not working. However fan can move when the wind blows.
    Any suggestions what could be causing a problem will be really appreciated.

    Does the fan work independent of cooling?

    No it don't. But when I turn on my furnace everything works fine including blower fan.

    Our AC. Is working now. We were not switching the furnace button ON.
