What are the hours that a landlord can show an apartment with tenant still living in the apartment? How many hours per day? The landlord wrote a letter "unlimited?

Are you leaving because you terminated your lease or did the owner?

(Meanwhile, I'll try to find out. Not all states have laws about this, although many just say 'reasonable hours per week between certain hours, and with 24 hours notice.' Some localities (cities, towns, counties) have specific ordinances to protect tenants that you will have to find by asking your town.

I can't find any specific law. This should be somewhere in your lease. If not, a letter written recently (after you signed a lease) doesn't apply.

One landlord asks his tenant to handle phone calls and showings for a small stipend. Suggest that to your landlord.

This is generally spelled out in your lease. Usually the landlord is allowed to show the property with reasonable notice. Reasonable notice is generally defined as 24 hours.

So the landlord can't just parade prospective tenants through the unit at a moments notice. On the other hand, they could tell you that they will be bringing several people by during a 5 hour period the next day.

I brought up local ordinance because I lived so long in Cambridge, MA - they have laws covering this and just about everything.

In general, it can not be at night but almost anytime, most leases require they give you a 24 hour notice, *** a blanket notice will not do, but they can call the day before and tell you that they will come the next day.
