    Blood in bowels
I got bucked off my horse 4 days ago. Just a few bruises and a little sore, but nothing terrible. I have made a bowel movement every day since. Normally it's a struggle for me to go, but was pretty easy this weekend. I went to the bathroom in an outhouse the whole weekend, so I don't know what it looked like. Today when I went #2 in the toilet my poo came out easily but had quite a bit of blood in it. It has happened twice today so far. This is the only time I've noticed it. Sometimes I've had a little blood when I've wiped but that was usually because it was a straining poo. What should I do or what do you suggest? Looks almost like my period in the toilet and when I wipe, it's bright red blood.

Cowgirl, make a doctors appt. and find out exactly what is going on. Bright red blood means it is close to the anus, dark blood would be from the bowels, just to ease your mind here. We can't diagnose on the internet, you can appreciate that. I got bucked once and landed on my tailbone, ouch, but didn't have any problem with bowels. So, please get it checked out properly.
