    Facuet head won't come off
I have a faucet head that is original to the house I'm moving into, the problem is that there is no shower so I want to replace the faucet head with one that has a shower pipe and head built in. I can not get the faucet head off and I'm not sure what to do... I have checked and there is no screw to undo so I'm guessing its just a screw on head but it won't budge... im scared of breaking it... what do I do?

They can be hard. If you are sure there is no allen screw, put a large screwdriver in the spout hole and twist counterclockwise. As an alternative, you can use a hacksaw to remove the larger section by cutting around, not through, the spout. Then, you should be able to see the connection. CAREFULLY cut through the female part of the spout to the threads and then use a screwdriver to split the threads.
