    Royalty or Fee
    A wholesale distributor has a line of products mfg and sells the product to several customers. . They have an agreement with one customer whereby the customer purchases the product directly from the mfg and has it shipped and packaged for them. The customer pays a "fee" or royalty on every one of these items that it sells worldwide. Where would this revenue be reported on the income statement?
