Hi hope someone can help

So myself an my partner want to have a 2nd baby as my 1st is now 4 and his is 9 nearly 10, so I had my copper coil removed on 25th April (my last normal period was 17th April till 24th) with an aprox cycle of 30-35 days we calculated ovulation to be between 3rd may-13may and peak day being 8th of may (using help from an ovulation app online) I also had what I understand to be called egg white fertile mucus on the 6th of may through to the 9th
With this in mind we tried to conceive on the 7th 8th and 10th of may (again using an online guide telling us these dates were best to try however there were other times before and after this also and no protection used on any)
Now I reached day 38 of my cycle an had 2 negative home pregnancy tests and decided a blood test was needed as I had negative home tests all the way through my last pregnancy
My blood test was on 38th day of cycle an negative then low an behold when I got home I started spotting the day after I had egg white mucus mixed with spotting an day 3 and for was just brown/black discharge witch stopped abruptly half way through day 4 :( very confused as had no period pains either just a few sharp cramps
Only other symptoms I have had is slightly more tired had a head ache today for an hour with feeling dizzy also (28th of may) and 2 different occasions of faint sickness in last week
I have contacted my doctor as I am also aware that my blood tests on my last pregnancy did not show up till over 2 months pregnant however I can't get an appointment for over a week
Sorry for the long story but with everything in mind that I have said can anyone shed some light as to whether they have experienced this and found they either were pregnant or not
