    Could I be pregnant?
This month my husband and I started to try for a baby. I believe we had sex a day before ovulation. My periods are very far apart, on average, 42 days from one start to the next. Today my period was due, but instead, a week and a day ago, I started having this very light pink/brown discharge, not much, just a little and its been coming on and off. On top of that sex has been feeling sore, like my vagina has been swollen, along with back aches, cramps, and fatigue. I have taken home pregnancy tests, but so far all have come back negative. Could I be pregnant or is something wrong with me that I can't get pregnant? Thank you!

We can't diagnose pregnancy, or issues that may prevent pregnancy, online.

It takes the average couple 1 to 2 years to conceive once they actively start trying. That's with tracking ovulation etc.

You've had one cycle, and already you're worried that you may have issues getting pregnant? No doctor will even do fertility testing until you've been trying for at least a year. A month is nothing.

Having said that, you're testing too soon. If your period was due today you should be testing in around 2 weeks, if you don't get your period. Use first morning urine when you test. It's way too early to get an accurate result.

    Good luck.
