    Low water pressure
    Hi.. I have a well and all of a sudden water pressure to house dropped... I checked the tank pressure and it read 10-12 lbs... replaced water pressure switch and water pressure went to 35 lbs great pressure.. lasted for a couple of hours and pressure gauge reads 10-12 lbs again... if I take pressure switch of and reinstall pressure goes back up but doesn't last... any ideas to help... thanks... lenny

    When it pumps up to 35 PSI does the gage hold steady or does it drop beak? What type of pump? Surface or submersible? Back to you, Tom

    Hey thanks for writing back... it holds at 35 for a couple of hours and then slowly drops... its a submersible pump... thanks... lenny

    If the gage drops without making a draw then I'd suspect a leaky check/foot valve, Regards, Tom
