    How do I stop my cat from rolling around in the litter? Why does a cat do this?

    Hey Sally, hopefully it is fresh litter you are talking about!! At the vet clinic I worked for, we boarded cats and no matter how big the cage, condo, room was, they always liked to hang out in the boxes! What kind of litter are you using? If it is pine or has any kind of natural ingredients in it, it may just be appealing to your cat. If changing litter doesn't help you can get a box with a lid or the round walk in kind-something with less room to frolic! In the end, cats are weird and mysterious, that's why we like them!
