    Pains at 12-13 weeks
Hello, I'm about 12-13 weeks pregnant and I've been noticing sharp pains locating in my lower back where my back begins to curve into my butt. I've experienced this three times all while I was asleep. The first one was all on my left side, the second on my right and the third again on my left. The pain lasted about fifteen minutes each and got slightly worse each time. Do you think this problem has to do with the baby or something else like my kidneys?

If you are 12-13 weeks pregnant... you NEED to be seeing a OB/GYN local to you on a regualr basis. Not someone online.

And if you are... you should be able to call them... because they would need to know about these sorts of things.

Sounds like either kidney or sciatic nerve. Only your doctor can pinpoint it.
