    Updates regarding my previous posts
    Hey y'all

Thanks again for your replies to my "No Period...No Morning Sickness...Not Pregnant, What's The Deal?" and "Two Questions"

I broke the news to my dad last night and he actually took it in all in calmly and I swear he even had a smile... what a relief! :D

I think it's because I ensured that we were having a really good night, went out to eat, just a father/daughter thing made things a lot easier. It really is all about timing, like when we used to do when we were younger and wanted something from our parents. :)

My doctor appt is officially set for April 2nd, 2007. :p

I'll be sure to update on the news. My Acne which I commented on earlier seems to finally be clearing up... I noticed that if I am actually pregnant I'd be around 12 weeks far along, almost at the end of 1st Tri.

I also heard that a lot of pregnancy symptoms, such as the infamous morning sickness, etc clears up after the 1st tri--- true or false?

One other question--- Do some pregnant women suffer some eyesight loss after giving birth from so much stress caused by hormones?

    Thanks!

I am happy things went well for you. I am sure your Dad is hapy that he knows you can go to him with your problems.

    Now to answer your questions:

    1) Most of the pregnancy symptoms do clear up after the first trimester, but remember that each woman is different and experiences different symptoms during pregnancy. This also goes for each pregnancy. What you experience with the first pregnancy may be different than what you experience with the second, and so on. So the answer to this question is neither true nor false.

    2) I have never heard of anyone having any sort of loss of eyesight due to pregnancy and/or delivery. Hormones have little if anything to do with eyesight.

They do say that the hormonal changes during pregnancy effect your eye sight, and shape of eyes, but that it goes back to normal after baby is born. That is why it is not uncommon for your contacts to not fit right, and not seem to work as well, during pregnancy. (my friend is going in for laser eye surgery, but she just had her baby 3 weeks ago. They told her that she needed to wait at least 6 weeks after baby was born, before they would do the surgery, as her eyes would still be changing before that point) Any changes experienced are not permanent though, and should return to normal after baby is born. Also, some symptoms of early pregnancy do go away by the end of the first trimester, however, do not be surprised if they return at a later date in pregnancy. Every woman's body, and every pregnancy they experience will be different. I'm glad that everything went well with your dad, and that he is being supportive :0) Good luck at your appointment
