    Art signatures
    I havan painting of a warfe scene( boat run ashore red and white has holes in the boat on shore there are two houses they are behind a green fence it is signed(EDIE under that is 83)does any one know anything about this atrist?

    Google is your best bet, but good luck. Most artists aren't well known enough to show up on Google. Finding a painting by an artist that isn't well known, is like finding a needle in a haystack. It will take a lot of browsing to find any info on this painting, unless you decide to go to an art dealer. If the painting is valuable an art dealer will be able to give you information right away. On the internet, it's a lot of searching, and even then, unlikely that you'll find any info.
