Hi guys! I'm new at this so can anyone help me? Um.. okay so I have a topic on nursing how much do you think they get paid and were would it be a good idea to work at?:confused:

If you are concentrating on what the salary of a registered nurse is, then you are looking in the wrong profession. Many do receive good incomes but the educational and clinical traning they go through, would daunt most people from even considering nursing.

Registered nurses would in a variety of settings, from public health to the private health clinics, hospitals, research, state institutions, children's rehabilitation hospitals/schools, impoverished areas such as reservations and low-income areas, etc.

I have met very few nurses who were into nursing for the money. It is not about money, it is about caring, compassion, and concern for the best quality of life for the individual.

I should also add that just because you may want to be a nurse, you may not be accepted into a nursing program. The field is very tough and competitive and only the best of the best are admitted into the programs.
