    I have a small lump on my scalp with a black dot on it inside the skin.
    I have a small lump witgh a little black dot in the middle. It is tender to touch and I know it is not a mole. What could this be?

    And indication that you should talk to your doctor. I can list off about 5 things that it could be, from a simple skin irritation, to cancer or flesh eating disease. The thing is... We can't diagnose because there will be never enough information you could provide us nor us knowledgeable enough to answer correctly.

    A medical professional is the way to go.
