    Heat pump thermostat wiring
I have pored over the thermostat wiring messages on this forum, but I still have a question. I am installing a RiteTemp 8085C to replace a Janitrol thermostat for my Goodman heat pump. The old thermostat was wired as follows:

    Red to R
    Orange to O
    Yellow to Y
    Green to G
    Blue to C
White looped around E and terminating a W2

I have wired the new thermostat as follows per manufacturers instructions, but there is no mention of E so I am not sure if it's correct:

Red to Rc (jumpered to Rh)
    Orange to O
Yellow to Y (jumpered to W)
    Green to G
    Blue to C
    White to W2

Does this look OK? Or do I need to do something to capture the function of E (which I believe has to do with the emergency heat relay? Thanks to everyone for this wonderful resource!
