My boyfriend woke up itchy. Throughout the day it's gotten worse as time goes by. The itchy area is red and has a few bumps here and there. It kind of looks like a rash. It started on his neck, and is now on his arms, face, and back. I keep wondering if it's bed bugs, allergic reaction, or chicken pox. He's gotten the chicken pox before, though. He fell asleep on his couch but then woke up and went into his bed. He didn't have any redness or swelling when he got up to go in his bedroom. But after he went to his room, he woke up and this happened. But if it were bed bugs wouldn't he have gotten affected a long time ago? Plus, his brother shares a bed with him, and his brother is fine. Is it an allergic reaction? The only things he's really eaten was meat, and he's been eating meat for years and this has never happened. We're only 16, and neither of us drive yet. I suggested his mom take him in a long time ago but she insists on waiting to see if it gets worse than it is now. I'm afraid if she doesn't take him in soon something will happen. Here are the conditions; He's having trouble breathing. He said his skin feels like it's burning, and it hurts. He also said his head hurts. I already suggested he take Benadryl and put a cold washcloth on his body wherever it burns. Please help?
