Need help.. (GIRLS)
I am 14 and haven't started yet... I was worried about it and am not comfortable talking to my mom about it... Is this normal? Because most of my friends started when they were around 11...

Your mom may have been a late bloomer too, but if you won't talk with her about this, you won't get that piece of information. Also, you might need a doctor's checkup and conversation about this, but if you don't talk with your mom abut this, no doctor appointment.
My advice is to grit your teeth and talk with your mom about this. It will show you are a mature young lady and not a scaredy little kid.

Because she told me! It's not that I don't talk to my mom, it's just I was not comfortable talking to her...

Then that is a perfect opener to a conversation with her: "Remember, Mom, when you told me your period had started when you were 11? Well, I'm already 14, and nothing yet. What do you think is going on?"
