    Ceiling Light/Fan Wiring Issue
    Hello All,

    I have a ceiling light/fan that is not working properly.

    These are the wires available;

    Fan: Blue, White, Black, Green
    Ceiling: White, White, Black, Black, Red
    Switch: Black, Red (Two blacks wire-nutted together, two whites wire-nutted together behind the switch)

    I currently have it setup as:

    Blue to red
    Blacks together
    Whites together
    Green to box

    Like this, the switch operates the light, but the fan does not work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Connect the two whites from the ceiling and the white of the fan/light together.

    Connect the two blacks from the ceiling and the black from the fan/light together.

    Connect the red from the ceiling to the blue from the fan/light.

    The wall switch will control the light. Pull chain will control the fan.
