She said that he brought her back to his house and convinced her to take off her pants, they then attempted to have sex but it hardly went in before they stopped. Did you actually read the OP? She told him about the incident. So where do you see trust issues? And what would searching some house do?

If the boy entered her, then technically she is not a virgin, but again, how far in, did it go in at all. But it does not matter, and really she had no reason to tell you
