That's the first Thing she did, vet said if he's not dead in 24 hours and still in pain, bring him back.

Does that mean that your friend didn't want to pay for X rays? Sounds like it.
A vet wouldn't say something like that out of the blue.
This is one reason why it's so hard to give advice to a third party.
She should keep a very close eye on the cat, including seeing how he pees and poops, and if he drinks water.

"Thats the first Thing she did, vet said if hes not dead in 24 hours and still in pain, bring him back."

Sorry - I'm not believing this. Someone is not telling the truth - perhaps your friend. I simply cannot believe that a Vet would say this. Leave the cat suffering, in pain, and if he's not dead in 24 hours... not believing it.

    Where is this?

Either you're lying, or your friend is lying. A vet would never say what was posted by you.

This is not the first thread we've had where a cat was stepped on. In fact, I don't even think it's the second. What's with all these people stepping on cats?

Bottom line, we can't help. Your friend needs to take the cat to a vet now.

I stepped on my cat! [ 10 Answers ]

OK, I feel pretty stupid, but... My new cat (3 days now - he's a year old though) likes to sit on the top step of my stairs. I was walking downstairs and stepped on him (and fell down 12 steps -- I'm rugburned pretty good, but OK). He freaked and hid under a desk for hours. **Should I...
