I'm twenty years old with moderately severe chron's disease. I just graduate high school last year, I was held back in second grade for behavior problems. Due to going back in forth to the G.I. doctor and hospital and finally getting diagnose with Chron's disease back in 2012 along with being a senior in high school obtaining a job was impossible at the time. After high school I was still living with my estranged drug addict mother still having frequent doctor appointments for my Chron's disease. I'm finally in a state of remission and have been actively job searching for the past couple of months. My mother told me I had until the end of the first week of June to get a place. I was getting things in order for me to leave in June but my mother up and left before the end of April 2013 without so much as a two weeks notice. A week later the landlord puts a letter on the door giving a ten day notice for being four months behind on rent which I was unaware of. I manage to save enough money for a deposit on a storage shed, now trying to find somebody with a truck to help me move. I had arrangements to look at houses out of state but now I need to secure a place to stay temporarily since my mother left over a month earlier than expected. I'm wondering can I sue my mother for transitional support? Despite never really caring for me as a child I was mostly raise by my grandmother until she past in my sophomore year of high school and I know my mother doesn't have to give me anything as an adult but as a roommate I feel I'm entitle to compensation for being left in an abandonment situation due to having to move on such short notice.

No... you are an adult the day you turn 18... you are repsonsible for your own support. Anything your parents provide after that is at their good graces.
