    Sue for back child support
    My son is 16 and his father has paid court ordered child suport off and on and owes arrears. Can my son at 18 sue his father for the arrears owed? Or can I?

    Child support is paid to the custodial parent. So it's the custodial parent's responsibility to get it paid. You don't have to sue, most states have child support agencies that will help enforce a support order.
