    Lawen chief 520 rider mower
    I would like to what size belt for a lawn chief riding mower, model 520. Has a 12.5 engine.
    And is a 43" blade cutting swath. Can someone please help

    I pulled this from another site. This person has a similar situation and here was the response. "Hmm.. this would be a very long shot.. but try calling Gulf Coast Engines at 800-825-6999 during the day. They MIGHT be able to find it in some old data. And you can order the part from them IF they have it. They used to be a distributor for Murray, and I am not sure if Murray or MTD bought out the Lawnchief stuff. I think it was made by GeneralPowerEquipment.. but who knows what happened to that company."
    Many brands of mowers are made by only a few manufacturers. MTD may be of some help, they make tons of this equipment. Any chance you have the old belt?
