    Why does my Amana dryer make a high pitch squeal when it is running?
    Whenever I start my dryer it squeals and than after awhile it stops but than it starts back up again. Please help!!

    Hi dee and welcome, sounds like you need a bearing kit, there not expensive but require a tear-down of the dryer. Below is the parts. Good luck
