    Big Toe Blister? Bruise?
I am guessing this happened from wearing shoes too small or having them on too tight. It's only on the big toes of my feet. I took pic of one since the other has the same problem but is a little better looking in swelling. It's basically a purple like blister or bruise on the skin near the nail bed. It's not at the nail and it sometimes bleeds if hit or irritated. Other than that, it does not hurt and I have been wearing sandals and socks/shoes that are comfortable and are untied as well. I went to my general Dr and he gave me cephelaxin for 10 days (I am done with it) and it did get a lot better (doesn't hurt as much and takes more pressure for it to hurt) I am doing epsom salt baths every day as much as I can as well. I took a pic of the right toe because it seems to be a little worse of than the left. The left is still a little swollen with some purpleness but doesn't hurt even when I press it. Don’t think it’s really ingrown either because I looked at pics and it doesn’t seem to look like that but I could be wrong

You really need to go back to your doctor. This looks like an infection. He will likely have to squeeze out the infected area, and then prescribe something to clear up the infection. He'll put a needle down the nail bed into the infected area, squeeze out the pus, and then normally apply an antibiotic cream and prescribe a cream or pill, or both.

My daughter went through this a few years ago, but on her finger. It's painful, but once it's squeezed out, it already feels so much better.

Keep in mind that this is just a guess, as no one can diagnose online.

This does indeed look infected and should probably be lanced. Please make another appointment with your doctor, or possibly a podiatrist.

That won't clear up the infection. The doctor is the only option.

This is OP, sorry I forgot I had 2 accounts for some reason lol
So my Dr before just looked at it and prescribed the cephelaxin. You think I should go back to him and he will know what to do? The office might even suggest I go to a pediatrist anyway right?
If I make an appointment, let's assume it's not soon, what can I do at home in the mean time?
