I need to get my fiancee's Indian passport updated with my name as spouse and
Update her name. She got her passport made in another city and I would like
To apply for her passport update from my hometown as we would be staying

1. Is it possible to apply for update from a different city for updation
Than the city from where passport was made?

2. Will her passport number change on name updation or it will remain the

For updating name she needs marriage proof, marriage certificate. Passport office is central department so you can made it from any city and update will be applied to national level.
