Itching on the skin between the bottom of vagina and anus?
For about three weeks now I've had itching on the skin right between my vagina and anus. I don't have a yeast infection, and no std's I just recently got checked. But, it is ongoing. Is it because of thongs? What could it be?

You could still have an infection, can you look at it with a mirror. Looking for; red lines, small bumps, swelling (level changes from right to left), IF you paragrava look at the babyseam below vagina for slight crust (Like a very small clear scab) also are you having abnormal discharge.

Paragrava? What's that? Do you mean para gravida, which still isn't entirely accurate?

The OP (original poster) did not mention pregnancy, or having just given birth. She's been tested for infection and STD's.

You're using big words, trying to seem like you know what you're talking about. If you're going to do that, at least spell them correctly, or Google them so you can at least look like you know what you're talking about.

For the OP, just to explain what this poster meant.

Gravida means the number of times a woman has been pregnant.

Para means the number of times she's given birth past 20 weeks (after 20 weeks it's no longer considered a miscarriage, it's considered a stillborn) to a live or deceased child.

Abortus, the third part of this, is the number of pregnancies that were lost, be it due to miscarriage or abortion. Stillbirths are covered in the Para portion.

    Found here:

To the OP, have you tested for pinworms?

More info is needed. Do you have a rash? Is your doctor aware of this constant itching, or did you simply get tested for a vaginal infection, or STD? What tests have been done? Did you recently get new underwear?

I'm not sure you know what your are talking about. Para Gravida refers to:

Gravida: How many live births a woman has had after the 20th week of gestation. Do you know what gestation is?

Para: The number of times a woman has been pregnant.

I think you are trying to say Multiparous Or Nulliparous. Multiparous means that a woman has had more than one child. Nulliparous is a woman who has not had any children.

Not to mention that the OP didn't say anything about giving birth, or having any children.

Sleepless did not like my correction at all, and sent a very nasty PM because I pointed out his inaccuracies. Not that I'm a doctor, or claim to be, but a simple Google, a bit of research, and actually reading what the OP wrote, would have saved him from his own embarrassing post.

Well, Alty, you know me. I AM in medicine, albeit not a doctor, but medicine is my profession. I'll be interested in any further medical advice Sleepless gives. I might just learn something new. LOL

LMAO! Ya, and check out his legal posts, as he claims to be a lawyer.

He's a lawyer the same way I'm a doctor. Just my opinion.

The only thing we can learn from this poster is that trolls are alive and well, and just because someone claims to be something online, doesn't make it fact. I'd love to see his diploma. It doesn't count if you got it out of a crackerjack box. Just saying.

Check their other posts they have been running around all night giving incorrect medical diagnosises on a number of threads... like Alty said... they claimed to be a lawyer and were wrong on all those as well.

That's why I love you. Well, that and a few other things I can't mention here. TMI? ;)

    Edit:

I'm watching too, even though I can't do anything about him. I just want to stop his inaccurate posts. He's a troll, a wannabe, and the info he posts is so bad it should be illegal. :(
