I am 19 years old... I've only been on the birth control shot for 11 months... I started last February 2013 but discontinued January 2013... How soon do you think its likely for me to get pregnant... I had sex with my ex 6 days ago and he didn't pull out it was unprotected... Now I think am pregnant... I took a pregnancy test today but it was negative... Do u think I could be pregnant so soon after coming off the shot??

You can't expect a pregnancy test to work six days after having sex. You need to wait 14 days after a missed period and use the first urine of the morning.

Haha, of course birth control is not 100 percent, and you could get pregnant even on the shot.

But so many things wrong, even a healthy couple can take up to a year, to be pregnant if they are timing sex with the days ovulation.

So are you tracking ovulation, not by silly online charts but by using basal temp?
Next you tested sex days after sex, I am sorry but you have no idea about pregnancy do you?
You have to first miss a period and then wait 14 days after you miss a period to test.

You have to wait at least 5 days before your menstrual cycle is due. Than you can go buy a first response test and that should detect it using the first urine of the morning. You also can go to the hospital and get blood work done. Blood work detects pregnancy very early! You can get pregnant very easily after quitting birth control. Best of luck!
