    On pill but afraid I'm pregnant
    I have been on birth control for about a year and a half now. I've never missed a pill. I was supposed to start my period Thursday but ended up starting Friday, so I was late. But it's not my normal period. I bleed a little then it's just brown stuff. Then I bleed then the brown stuff again. I am also getting really bad cramp. I normally don't get cramps at all but these cramps just make me want to sit down all day. I am really concerned that I might have gotten pregnant while on the pill but wanted some input. Maybe I'm just being over dramatic or maybe I'm right? I also have been feeling hungry alllll day long but when I go to eat, I don't eat a lot. Please tell me what you think. Thank you so much.

    No method of birth control is 100%. Some experts on AMHD recommend using two forms of birth control to guard against an unwanted pregnancy.

    You did get your period - it's just strange and one day late.

    I think you're freaking yourself out. You can always ask your Pharmacist to recommend a HPT and use it as recommended.

    Most pregnancy tests do not test well till you are 14 days late, so best just to wait another week or so, but since you got a period, although different, most likely you are not
