    Pregnancy after a vasectomy
I just got off the shot 6 months ago after being on it for 9 yrs. I had my first period last month. The guy I am seeing had a vasectomy 9 yrs ago. I am now 6 days late on my period. Is this normal after stopping the shot or should I be worried? I have read the longer since the procedure the more likely it can happen?

It can takes quite a while for your cycle to return to normal after using the shot, especially for such a long time.

My husband had a vasectomy in 2003. Are there ways to get pregnant (with my husband's sperm) after a vasectomy WITHOUT going through the reversal process? What I mean is is there a way to extract sperm, albeit weak, from a man to be implanted into a woman? Or, is the vasectomy reversal required?
