OK so I left a 8 yr relationship to the father of my kids and 7 months later me and my first love somehow got in contact with each other and now we have been dating for 6 months. I have a lot of trust issues and I know I nag him a lot which sadly I feel has pushed him away a bit... he currently lives in another state and was planning to move with me.. so we used to skype all the time he was lovey and would text me here and there through the day just to say I love you or he missed me or where he would be. The other day I pestered him again and said oh you don't miss me your always with your friends you care more about them than me he got very upset which he usually just brushes off but that night he got on skype and messaged me and was kind of mean but honest it hurt... the next day he was kind of cold but still answered back and said he loved me... its been 2 days since and he has not tried contacting me if I text him he answers but its one word answers and he has not made contact with me when I say I love you he doesent say it back. I asked him what was wrong and he ignored it. The other day I asked if we were okay he says yes. I just don't get it I feel like he's just pushed me away and maybe is afraid he will hurt me so he doesent break up... im supposed to go see him in a couple of weeks and tickets have been bought a while but I'm so scared that its not going to happen I was supposed to go sooner but he had to travel for work so I changed the flight date and now this I don't know what to do its consuming me I don't know if I should just leave him alone and let him come to me I just don't know I'm so scared to loose him he's told me time and time again that if he felt he didn't love me like I did him he would just walk away. But now he's soooo blah I'm an emotional wreck I don't want to show him I am I don't want to be needy . I'm scared maybe he found someone else and doesent want to say anything . I love this man more than anything. Lately he's been always out with friends or working but really it doesent take more than a sec to text someone. I wish I could read inside his mind I don't want to ask anymore questions because he's already upset ugh guys are so confusing they never say just what's wrong damn if you want to go just go already.

Maybe your first love has realized that he does not want to be with you. 8 years is a long time. People change a lot in 8 years. Maybe he has changed and have and he is just not wanting to go there. You need to be getting over your 8 year relationship not jumping into a new one with an old love
