    Travel to Arizona from Texas
I just found out my father passed away
I live in Texas and he and my step mom lived in Arizona my parole officer told me I can't go because I owe $800.00 in back parole fees. If I go and don't tell them I went will they find out?

    Hello W:

They might.. In fact, your PO is going to be LOOKING for it.. He's a real prick... F**k him.

Write a CERTIFIED letter to his supervisor with copies to the offending PO, the HEAD PO, the judge and the prosecutor, and tell him exactly what you told us here. Plus, HAND DELIVER a copy to him.

The reason you DO that is (1) to get the travel permit, and (2) to protect yourself from retaliation from this prick. No, he's NOT going to like you. Do you care?

I would include a copy of his death certificate, and if you are wanting to travel for a funeral, include all the contact of the funeral home.
