What causes toilet tank not to fill in jacuzzi brand
Water doesn't refill into tank. Valve is on, but I never hear any water attempting to come through. Interior is type with float on stem, not a ball floater. I tried to adjust the floater several times with no results.

Try moving the float up and down by hand.

If adjusting the float doesn't work, I'd consider just replacing that mechanism. I learned a while back that it only costs like $11 to replace these parts in a toilet, and it usually works for me even if I don't understand what was causing the problem. Just starting at the beginning to make all the right adjustments per the directions in the package works for this amateur single-mom plumber and has saved me a lot of money on plumbers.
